Critical thinking:

1.       What time of year do hurricanes occur? Why do they only happen during that time?
Hurricanes most occur in summer because water/ocean is hot in summer.

2.       How can the timing of the tides (high or low) effect the devastation of hurricane?
When tides are low hurricanes don’t have much power and when tides are high it increase its power.

3.       If an area is fully saturated, will a hurricane have more or less impact on an area?
The hurricanes will have more impact because evaporation from the water increases its power.

4.       How does ground water saturation affect rivers and streams?
It affects rivers and stream by making it dirty.

Actually it wasn’t difficult but to find cause was a little challenging.

3.       What would you change about your work on this project?
I would put more causes and effects.

4.       How did this project help you learn about Hurricane Irene?
I learned how does and formed what was the causes and effect and when does it happen the most.
